Eri leads a dynamic and passionate team of colleagues at the Fairmont Royal York. With over 20 years’ experience at this iconic Hotel, she has successfully led the Sales, Catering and the Event Sales & Services teams, to achieve record results while elevating and curating best in class events in the city. In addition to her focus on sales and operational excellence, Eri liaises high profile visits to the Hotel.

Marushka is a highly effective & engaged leader, with over 20 years of extensive experience in the industry. She consistently seeks innovative ways to curate unparalled events while providing an elevated level of service for our guests. While also managing complex events and projects she supports the team with the daily operation ensuring the grandest of feelings that our guests have come to know from the Fairmont Royal York.

Irene, a consummate award-winning hotelier, considers the Fairmont Royal York her second home, after 32 successful years of organizing events at this iconic hotel.  With her acute attention to detail, her specialization is with large citywide conferences.  She continues to impress and excite her clients with her organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail and passion for her craft.  Whether you are planning an event for 100 or 1000, with her extensive knowledge and expertise, Irene will effortlessly plan your event – one that will be remember for years to come.

Brett’s roots in hospitality began with culinary schooling in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Brett has been turning moments into memories across Canada. He started on the east coast at what was formerly the Fairmont Algonquin in St. Andrews By-the-Sea, then moved west to Fairmont Winnipeg, and into the majestic mountainside at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. He is now firmly grounded at Toronto’s grand dame ~ Fairmont Royal York. From small meetings to grand galas, Brett’s expertise and expansive knowledge will ensure your meetings and events leave lasting impressions for you and your guests.

In 2016, Joyce began her career at Fairmont Royal York in the Food and Beverage department. Her passion for making her guests’ every memory an unforgettable one brought her to the banquet department where she executed weddings, conventions, meetings and social events with precision and pizzazz. Now as one of the newest Event Sales and Service Managers of the Sales & Catering team, Joyce brings with her more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry along with a fresh perspective to ensure your experience with Fairmont Royal York is as special as the people you are planning the event for.

Natalia’s passion for hospitality began over 13 years ago when she joined the Fairmont Royal York team. Her combined experience in rooms programs and event operations led her to the Event Sales and Services team where she now plans and details corporate and social events varying in size and scope. Natalia’s attention to detail in delivering the most memorable of experiences for your guests will ensure every aspect of your event is flawlessly planned and executed.

As a young yet seasoned professional with a post graduate degree in International Business, Hospitality, Sales, and Event Management, Aaheli’s experience spans globally across the Middle East and India with over 5 years of experience in luxury brands executing large scale social and corporate events. Being a perfectionist by nature, her passion profoundly lies in delivering impeccable service, leveraging strong relationships by working together to transform dreams into reality flawlessly. She has an unwavering commitment to curate everlasting memories for the grandest of feelings to every guest at Fairmont Royal York.

Akshay is an accomplished professional with more than a decade of experience in the Event Industry. He holds an MBA in Event Management, which has equipped him with a deep understanding of the nuances and complexities of this dynamic field. Throughout his career, Akshay has demonstrated a keen ability to turn events into unforgettable experiences for clients across the globe. One of Akshay’s true passions is wedding planning, but he also excels in the planning and execution of galas and other social events. He takes pride in working closely with his clients to understand their unique vision, needs, and preferences, and goes the extra mile to bring their dreams to life.

Nicole is a service and solutions oriented industry professional. She thrives on creating exceptional experiences for each of our Fairmont Royal York guests and clients. With over 5 years of Banquets and Events experience, and a proud graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce in Hotel and Food Administration, Nicole joined the Royal York Events Team, and recently assumed the role of Event Sales & Services Manager.

With over 24 years of experience, Anita continues to build and maintain relationships within the Toronto event industry. A seasoned event-guru, Anita knows all the tricks of the trade to make Fairmont Royal York the perfect venue for your signature event. Known by her clients for being incredibly knowledgeable, personable and professional, Anita is your go-to girl for bringing your creative vision to life!

Sophia is a steadfast leader, dedicated to providing a seamless and personalized approach to the Event Sales process. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she enjoys cultivating relationships with clients and internal team members, to showcase Fairmont Royal York as the quintessential hotel for local meetings & events.

Kelly began her 13 year Fairmont career in the Rockies, in the food & beverage division at both Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Fairmont Banff Springs, before joining the Fairmont Royal York team in 2016. Kelly specializes in planning weddings, galas and social events. Kelly treats every event as special in their own way, whether it is a wedding, afternoon tea for a bridal party, baby celebration or engagement shower ~ these important life event celebrations are the most enjoyable for Kelly to plan!

Alison began her Fairmont journey 7 years ago when she decided to pack up her life in Glasgow, Scotland and join the Food & Beverage Management Team at the Fairmont Royal York. With her love of food & beverage and her past sales experience, it was only natural for her to join the Sales Team as Executive Meeting Manager a few years later. From meetings, social events and small conferences, Alison’s expertise will ensure that your expectations are succeeded and that your event is a success. Fairmont Royal York is a special place for Alison and this is embodied in her infectious passion and drive to ensure that you fall in love with the hotel as much as she has.

Nafees started at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in 2022 as an Executive Meeting Manger. Prior to that she has experience in a broad range of roles from banquet management to conference services and sales. Nafees is a very detail oriented individual with passion for providing the best customer service experience. Ready, set, ACTION! As the Sales Executive, Film Production, Claudia’s main focus is to sell all areas of the hotel as a movie set. From commercials shoots to music videos, TV shows and feature films, Claudia has serviced hundreds of film shoots since she joined the Sales team in 2010. In 2016, Fairmont Royal York was recognized as being the most filmed location in Toronto for that year. Claudia loves being part of the action and she is proud to be known as one of the most knowledgeable film contacts in the City!
